The Washington Wizards and Minnesota Timberwolves have reached a deal that will send Timberwolves guards Mike Miller and Randy Foye to the Wizards for Etan Thomas, Oleksiy Pecherov, Darius Songalia and the No. 5 overall pick in Thursday's draft, sources have told Pro Basketball News.
As it stands, the Timberwolves now have the Nos. 5, 6, 18 and 28 picks in the first round.
Details are still being worked out, according to sources, but the deal is expected to be official by the time the draft begins.
The deal was the third one of the day, following the trade between San Antonio and Milwaukee, in which Bucks forward Richard Jefferson was sent to the Spurs for Bruce Bowen, Fabricio Oberto and Kurt Thomas.
Oberto was promptly traded to Detroit for Amir Johnson, and is expected to be bought out by the Pistons.
Miller, 29, is entering his 11th season and will be with his third team in a little more than a year, averaging 9.9 points per game with the Timberwolves this past season. He has also played for Orlando and more recently, Memphis.
Foye is a 25-year old combo guard who just completed his third year, averaging career-bests of 16.3 points and 4.3 assists per game.
